Odontolgiska Samfundet i Finland r.f. is a society for Swedish speaking dentists and dental students in Finland. The society was founded in December 1936 and has approximately 300 members. The main goals of the society are to offer continuing education in dentistry in Swedish among Finnish dentists, to support dental research and to promote community among the members.
We cooperate with The Finnish Dental Society Apollonia, The Finnish Dental Association (Hammaslääkäriliitto) and the Finnish Dental Journal, with the Swedish speaking association for medical doctors in Finland Finska Läkaresällskapet and with Duodecim.
The president represents the society at the FDI (Fédération Dentaire Internationale) meetings.
